Meet the doctor

Dr. David G. Hackbarth, D.C.

Dr. Dave grew up in Austin, Minnesota, and felt his calling to chiropractic after injuring his low back playing high school football. He did his undergraduate work in Minnesota and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis in 1991.

He interned at Arvold Chiropractic in Oakdale under Dr. Jordan Arvold, then started his career as an associate under Dr. Scott Bautch in Wausau. He opened his own practice in Menomonie in 1992, spent nine years in the former L-mart mall location, and has been on Schneider Avenue for over fifteen years since.

Alongside the practice he served six years as professor and Dean of Western Sciences at the former Northwestern Wisconsin School for Oriental Body Therapy. He is married to Sheleen, who also helps manage the practice, and they have three children, Grace, Rome and Joris.

Dr. Hackbarth has since added Dr. Joshua Secraw and Dr. Kristin Wahl to the practice, to better serve his patients and the community.
